Welcome to (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”). 

This document discloses the privacy policy of Amélie Dumarcher (“Amélie Dumarcher”, “we”, “us”, “our”, “us”) who operates the Website. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information (the “Information”) when you use the Website. This document is intended to help you understand how we collect and use information when using the site and its forms. 

This policy is based on the laws in force in Canada, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (R.S.Q., chapter P-39.1) in the province of Quebec, where the company’s head office is located.

By accessing and visiting the Website, contacting us, or agreeing to receive emails from us, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the site. 

This policy does not apply to websites operated by third parties. As this policy may be updated, we recommend that you consult it regularly. 

Information collected, use and transmission
For communication purposes with you, we collect and use the Information that you have knowingly chosen to communicate to us through a comment, contact or registration form, as well as your electronic exchanges with us. We also collect the content you publish on our social media. This may include your name, email address, and any other personal information you choose to include in the message body (this may include, but is not limited to: location, billing address, contact information, demographic information). You may choose not to provide certain Information, but you may not be able to use certain services or participate in certain exchanges. By default, WordPress also collects data from the “Your Profile” screen of registered users. 

For site analysis and development purposes, we also collect information related to interactions on the site, i.e. your use of the Website: dates and times of visits, pages viewed, documents downloaded, the type of web browser used during visits, your IP address, etc. We may also allow third parties to collect certain Information, such as Information generated by your devices or computers during your interaction with the Website, including your location and IP address. 

These different functions, by which Information may be collected, are detailed below. 

Comments on the report 

When you leave a comment on our Website, the data entered in the comment form, but also your IP address and your browser’s user agent are collected to help us detect unwanted comments. An anonymous string created from your email address (also called hash) can be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The privacy policy of the Gravatar service is available here: After validation of your comment, your profile photo will be publicly visible next to your comment.

Contact forms for contact 

The Caldera Forms extension is used for the contact form. The personal data recorded are your name and email address, as well as the content of the message. This information is collected for the purpose of effective communication with you, but will not be used for any commercial purpose. Caldera Forms stores Information only in the short term. The conditions are available on the website 


In accordance with current practices, we may transmit a cookie to your hard drive to analyze your activities on the Website and to remember you the next time you visit. These cookies only serve to identify your computer the next time you visit.

If you leave a comment on our site, you will be asked to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is only for your convenience so that you do not have to enter this information if you leave another comment later. These cookies expire after one year.

If you go to the login page, a temporary cookie will be created to determine if your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain any personal data and will be deleted automatically when your browser closes.

When you log in, we will set a number of cookies to store your login information and screen preferences. The lifetime of a login cookie is two days, that of a screen option cookie is one year. If you tick “Remember me”, your login cookie will be stored for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookie will be deleted.

By modifying or publishing a publication, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie does not include any personal data. It simply indicates the ID of the publication you have just modified. It expires after one day.

Financial data 

No financial data will be requested from you on the Website. The online training offered is managed by a third party website (Didacte), and payments are managed by Stripe, an independent online payment service institution. Information exchanged in this context is outside the scope of this Privacy Policy. 

Statistics and audience measurements _ TO DO 

In this subsection, indicate the statistical tools you use for your audience measurements, and if applicable, link to your supplier’s privacy policy.

By default, WordPress does not collect any visit statistics. However, many hosting providers collect anonymous statistical data. You may also have installed a WordPress extension that provides statistical services. In this case, indicate the information on this extension here.

Use of Information
We reserve the right to use the Information internally at our discretion to process your requests and answer your questions, improve our customer service and product range, keep in touch with you to inform you about our products, and note trends and statistics.

Under no circumstances do we knowingly communicate or sell the Information to a third party.

How long your data is stored 
We keep the Information as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in the Policy or if required by law, for a longer period of time. 

The Information is stored on secure servers and we take reasonable measures to protect the Information from any undesirable use, loss, modification or disclosure. The content of this Website is intended for adults or minors who are represented by adults as the case may be. We do not knowingly collect Information about minors. By using the Website, you warrant to us that you are of legal age, if not, you represent that you are assisted by your parents or legal guardian, failing which, we kindly ask you to stop using the Website.

In the case of comments, if you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This allows you to automatically recognize and approve the following comments instead of leaving them in the moderation queue.

If you have an account or have left comments on the site, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we have about you, including the data you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of your personal data. This does not take into account data stored for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Third party sites and hyperlinks
The Website may include links to other sites and embedded content (e. g. videos, images, articles…) from other sites. The use of this content is done in the same way as if you were visiting this other site. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking tools, track your interactions with these embedded content if you have an account logged in to their website.
